Michel Ocelot will honour us with his presence at the Monaco Anime Game Show on 2 and 3 March 2013 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco
Michel Ocelot, who was born on the Côte d’Azur, is a French director known for his animated films. He rose to fame with the Kirikou saga, which was inspired by a story from West Africa.
He will give a talk on Saturday 2 March 2013, at 4.45 pm in the Salle Auric, on the subject of the Kirikou trilogy and his working methods.
Then, on Sunday 3 March 2013, in the Prince Pierre Amphitheatre, from 2 pm to 3.30 pm, there will be a screening of the film "Kirikou et la sorcière" ("Kirikou and the Sorceress"), where Michel Ocelot will answer questions from the audience.
Michel Ocelot made his first feature film, "Kirikou et la sorcière" ("Kirikou and the Sorceress"), in 1998. The film was enjoyed by one-and-a-half million spectators. This was followed by new Kirikou adventures, with "Kirikou et les bêtes sauvages" ("Kirikou and the Wild Beasts") in 2005 and "Kirikou et les hommes et les femmes" ("Kirikou and the Men and Women") in 2012.
