The 2nd Pink Ribbon Monaco Walk in aid of breast cancer prevention and awareness raising will take place on Sunday 17 March
Pink Ribbon Monaco/ MCCA (Monaco Cancer Charity Association) was founded in spring 2011 by Natasha Frost and Julia Sperl-Kaukonen. The aim is to help educate the public and raise awareness of breast cancer screening methods, in association with doctors from the Princess Grace Hospital.
Hundreds of participants are expected for the 2nd Pink Ribbon Walk in Monaco, as a gesture in support of victims of breast cancer.
A fee is payable for registration. With the money collected, Pink Ribbon Monaco hopes to make a significant contribution to financing spectroscopy, an innovative, new-generation screening and post-therapy monitoring technique for breast cancer, in view of the forthcoming opening of the senology centre at the Princess Grace Hospital.
Several routes are available, to enable people of all sporting levels and all ages to take part in the race. In addition, a circuit for people with restricted mobility is currently being finalized.
Meet at 9 am on Sunday 17 March on Port Hercule!
