The Monaco Kiwanis Club is organizing a concert with the band of the Palace Guards and the NATO Jazz Orchestra on 26 March 2013
The band of the Palace Guards (La Fanfare de la Compagnie des Carabiniers du Prince) was founded in 1979 at the request of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III. Over the years, the military instruments, with their limited number of notes, have been supplemented with other instruments, making it possible to play all musical genres.
The NATO Jazz Orchestra is made up of musicians from NATO's 28 member countries. It performs a varied repertoire, from Glenn Miller to Peter Gabriel and Frank Sinatra's classic songs.
The concert by La Fanfare de la Compagnie des Carabiniers du Prince and the NATO Jazz Orchestra will be given in aid of charity.
Tuesday 26 March at 8 pm
